Were I doing such a thing for an Asian dance competition, I would think that performing a traditional dance from your family's home country to the same music would have added an interesting flair.

Thanks, but that would have to incorporate some sort of hip hop dancing accompanying the traditional dance. Traditional dancing and contemporary music? Not always a great mesh.
