Excuse me? I think someone who proclaims to be a ll about the environment and tells everyone and anyone who will listen to him about cutting emmissions while he is flying all over the country on chartered jets. Puhleease.

Really, stories like this are fluff for the ignorant masses. Stories about the Bush twins, Chelsey's latest boyfriend, or some Prince in the UK who used poor judgement, all the same. AKA Random Stupid Stuff.

I never left. Nothing as posted justified a reply. Interesting and pleasantly entertaining was to watch DanaC, piercehawkeye45, BigV, and others confront myth with facts and commentary. No reason to comment even on a thermocouple length. Also interesting is the return of Chewbaccus.

But most interesting of all - did anyone notice? Urbane Guerrilla apparently picked up Thomas Barnett's book again. His reference to China as a member of the New Core implies he finally got through a few first chapters.

Barnett's book is not easy reading. It does require grasp of some fundamental military and political principles. Barnett takes it to some very complex and multidimensional conclusions. It will be interesting to see how Urbane Guerrilla deals with concepts that contradict his "America does not do nation building" political agenda.

I am surprised I even commented in this thread. In hindsight, there was nothing worth commenting on. But the RFID thread was going askew rather than going after a 'bigger picture'.
