I can't handle a boat, but thank you so much for the offer. In fact I'm stuck at the house today, bad pain day (did too much yesterday, missing the beach and fireworks, I'm pissed).
But, I'll ask if there will be another free day. I'm not making plans. We went to the pier and I was amazed that it was accessible, even after reading it was (you would be surprised what some call accessible). I did not catch anything but had the best time I've had in YEARS. I'll upload some pics when I can wrestle the camera from my wife. I have not really taken any. I'm not doing very well this trip and have been in the chair the whole time. The weather has been bad, it messes with me. It is a lovely island. I love the wetlands. |

rk, I'm so glad to read that you're having a good time. I know (from family telling me of their experiences) how easy it is to overdo it and then be knackered for the next day. I'm not going to say "pace yourself", I'm saying emphatically "don't beat yourself up over stuff" - if you had a great day but "overdid" it leading to pain or tiredness, just chill, don't waste your energy kicking yourself. Chill, save the energy for another good day on the island before your holiday is up.
