I have got to stop reading this thread.
People keep reminding me of the things I fear and honestly, I do get the shudders all over.

I hate clowns. I don't like them in real life (ie people in clown make-up getting out of tiny cars and falling over) but I absolutely loathe images of them.

I was given a china clown statue as a joke one Christmas. It was seriously creepy and I worried about it at night and it stopped me sleeping - I didn't really believe it would come alive, but it set too many thoughts racing through my mind to be able to relax. And I was scared if I smashed it, I'd find it back in the house again, unmarked. At which point my mind would snap (my other great fear).

A friend stepped in and took it off my hands. The act of talking to a rational adult made me behave like a rational adult too. I'm still glad it's gone though.
