Ancient Cellar History

It's amazing what you find when you clean out your basement.

These photos are from... UT? Help me out? 1993?

They were taken in the parking lot of the Spectrum, which was at the time the home of the Philadelphia 76ers and Flyers. It was a roller hockey tournament. The gray shirts are then-current Dwellars plus, I believe, a couple extra friends.

I'm gonna say 1994. And I believe the final score was 15-2. We lost.

Great find SD!

So there was a Cellar hockey team? Who was on it? And how long did it last?

Can we form a Cellar drinking team?

The Roxborough Blades. I don't think there are any current Dwellars who played, but we used to invite everyone out to skate, and eventually we got about 10 people out. The hardest part was finding a decent place to play. For some reason municipalities didn't take too kindly to building outdoor hockey rinks.
