... and yet our introduction to the word "patty" came from McDonalds. Wait, makes sense.
I still remember the Big Mac advert from the 70s "Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun..." This website shows the differences between the UK and US editions of Harry Potter. For me it contains weird examples of finding out something I thought was universal is in fact simply British. Like posting here ![]()
