Grits are mandatory at breakfast. Either with cheese or a fried egg whipped into them.

Want to know what grits taste like and have the texture of? Ground up rice.
I hate them. However, if you want the best grits ever - I highly recommend the Shrimp and Grits at Crook's Corner in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I've never had it, but people rave about it.
