People want to see amazing videos, not amateurish doodling.

I hear ya. The "delusions of grandeur" syndrome is pronounced these days in almost all areas of art.

I like drums and drumming. Art Blakey comes to mind. Chico Hamilton too. I like Brazilian music a lot (Bossa Nova) and like Claudio Slon as a drummer. That bossa beat can be tricky. I like Conga, too. Candido, Ray Baretto. Puente still rocks on the Timbales.
