			Well you could always sub some Italan sausage for some of the ground beef , Peperoni slices and chunky manara sauce in between the layers ,  Or Gyro meat , or ?????

			Wow, some friends of mine go to a huge shindig each year called "the meat fest" (yesterday, in fact) this would be an awesome thing ofr that. And I completely agree about the bacon. Maybe crumbledon top of the frosting sort of like a german chocolate cake, or as a filling between layers. Wow, just wow.

			I'm riffing here, how about one with shaved montreal smoked beef or proscuito on top?  Some romano grated on top of that, with some asparagus tips...

			OR ( Carols suggestion )  corned beef , sour crout , some spiced up thousand island dressing , swiss cheese layered with rye bread !! A ruben cake , she said just 2 layers , but that sounds SMALL to me !!!
