Perhaps gay folk are being integrated into the archetype?
I know from fairy tales. Nasty, brutish and short. Ask me, baby, ask me. There is more homosexuality in traditional fairy tales than you (or the Great Sky God) will ever acknowledge. PS also experimented as a 20 year-old. I like dudes. So what? *actually, said with a sort-of pride--fairy tales are my specialty*
