Ender's Game to become a screenplay...

Well, Card did write the first version of the script, so hopefully David Benioff will not stray too far from that. Also, Happy Monkey's right. Card has been looking to make Ender's Game into a movie for a long time, and the primary reason that it hasn't happened yet is his reluctance to give up control. Seeing as how Ender's Game is the book he is most identified with, Card does't want the movie to be screwed up any more than we do.
