Road Trip

My grandparents used to live outside of Phoenix so I've driven that route a million times. But my most enjoyable trip yet was when a group of us drove from So. Cal. to New Orleans for Mardi Gras a couple years back. We took our time and drove a week there and 4 days back (camped most of the time to save $). We stayed off of the major highways most of the time too. Backroads were so much more interesting. The best BBQ I've ever had was at a gas station somewhere outside of Austin, TX. It got a little eerie in LA though - lots of creepy people with no teeth - straight out of Deliverence *insert banjos*. Overall, the trip was awesome. Have fun on your trip!
