Totally serious. I love Shatner but i cannot watch that performance without cringing to the max. Though in fairness Leonard Nimoy's offering was even worse and since it was straight faced attempt, even more cringy

Another one that falls into the "so bad it might be brilliant" category. "I am, I said' Neil Diamond. |

Nimoy's "Ballad of Bilbo Baggins" video is mind-numbingly, shockingly, bad.

LOL sorry to be late on this one, but as I read it, I was reminded of my cousin's wedding where at the reception, the whole wedding party was on a stage (yes!) LEADING the guests in doing the Macarena (sp??). Oh lawd what a memory, but the wedding overall was a blast.

				The hit or miss eighties.

The kids earned a trip to TGI Fridays for their successful behavior mod. I don't know if it's always like this but it was all eighties. Some pretty cool old tunes were played but when they ran out a George Michaels / Laura Branigan one two punch, I had to leave the table

After some careful thought, two songs come to mind: "Copa Cabana" by Barry Manilow http://www.angelfire.com/va/srisons/cabana.html "Her name was Lola, she was a showgirl..." "Ice Ice Baby" by Vanilla Ice http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip...23/icebaby.txt "Take heed, 'caese I'm a lyrical poet..." Oddly enough "Ice Ice Baby" was sampled from one of my favorite songs. "Under Pressure" by Queen and David Bowie http://www.queenwords.com/lyrics/songs/sng19_02.shtml I ran a DJ company when "Ice Ice Baby" was released and it killed nightly to play this shit on the big speakers to a roomful of screaming girls. Sometimes I'd slip "Under Pressure" into the mix just to watch the crowd turn on me. I never had the time to explain the song was a rip off...
