And you're right, most women won't sink to the depths that desperate men do with regard to food. One guy I dated described a time at which he thought it was perfectly rational to have oatmeal with onions. Both started with "O" and it was around dinner time. Were it breakfast, he said, he wouldn't have added the onions (He has a PhD in computer science, which pretty much explains everything).
