Dham, I thought long about this one:

I came to one conclusion:

You can't sell a unified security product. Ever.

The reason why: Applications.

Security has to be fine-tuned for all apps.

Even the best products only provide 50% of what you need to actually prepare a system to be somewhat secure, and even then you've not done a good enough job. IF you think otherwise, you're probably an MCSE .

Therefore, Sun selling a security product is:

A. An oxymoron. Solaris is full of holes.
B. Trying to make bucks since their products are on eBay for 10% of retail. I had a friend pick up a loaded 220R for about $2,500. Ouch.

Oh well. You get what you pay for.
