I'm thinking of just setting my tablet up in a spot where you can see the ceremony, but lowering my sound.
That way you all could talk to each other but not be heard by the folks in meat space. I'd flip the view, so people would think it's recording a video and not obstruct the view. My dad has a full account, but someone has to let people join.... I might be begging a favor of the sasanach....
