It is a zoom meeting trying to re-create "plastic forks" a real life meeting which I always avoided one way or another. This is easier. Limey is your guide.

I've been wondering what the term actually means as well.

Mind you, by the time a new word or phrase has come to my attention, it has usually acquired the tag [archaic] in the dictionary.

Anyway, I think that I can now safely dismiss the possibility of Virtual Forks being a town in North Dakota.
