For a Torontonian visiting the U.S.A., you can't find a place to feel more at home than Chicago.
Strolling the waterfront, shopping the Miracle Mile on Michigan Avenue, and staying in the Ritz-Carlton atop Water Tower Place ... it doesn't get much better than the windy city. It's my kind of town, Chicago is. Now this could only happen to a guy like me And only happen in a town like this So may I say to each of you most gratef'lly As I throw each one of you a kiss This is my kind of town, Chicago is My kind of town, Chicago is My kind of people, too People who smile at you And each time I roam, Chicago is Calling me home, Chicago is Why I just grin like a clown It's my kind of town My kind of town, Chicago is My kind of town, Chicago is My kind of razzmatazz And it has all that jazz And each time I leave, Chicago is Tuggin' my sleeve, Chicago is The Wrigley Building, Chicago is The Union Stockyard, Chicago is One town that won't let you down It's my kind of town Track Title: My Kind Of Town Album Title: Sinatra at the Sands with Count Basie Orchestra Prime Artist: Frank Sinatra Producer: Reginald (Sonny) Burke Written by: Sammy Cahn Written by: Jimmy Van Heusen Last edited by Nic Name; 01-27-2002 at 02:07 PM. |
