BTW even games with a good enough graphics card can sometimes suprise on what seems like old hardware.

My daughter's machine is a PI 200 with 128MB SIMM memory a decent HHD, win98SE and a 16MB voodoo II PCI graphic card. I threw it together for nothing and it can run quite a few graphic intensive games even when the requirements say PII 300 or greater.

Just don't bin the machines, if I was on your side of the Atlantic I'd be knocking on your door to pick them up
