That is a dumb color name. Could be they mean kind of off-white? or more of a French Vanilla, maybe? But certainly not pink.
Might be worth a call to customer service. edit: by Googling I found a paint color called vanilla bean that also looked a bit pinkish, but I suspect that it's really more taupe-y. Googling for "Vanilla Bean Pants" found me this really yummy looking recipe ...
