Accuracy in headlines, I say. The Mail, who can't be faulted for wanting a really awesome headline, suggests that the above pic is the world's tallest man and the world's shortest. Well that would be a really amazing thing, but they admit in the story that the tiny gent is a good 5 cm taller than the person already listed in the Guinness Book as the shortest.
Nevertheless, the dude IS extremely short; the
Mail does it again with yet another story that catches the IotD eye; and Bao Xishun does it again, staying in the weird news cycle a bit longer.
In today's story, Bao meets the tiny Ping Ping, who is 2 foot 4 inches (73 cm) tall. So almost three and a half of the little guy would stack up to 7 foot 9 Bao.
Ping Ping looks so awesome in his custom tux. The priceless part of this shot is their facial expressions, which only get better in the rest of the Mail story.
