not yet. we had our fire up here last year. mostly what im watching now is to make sure that the places i plan on visiting in the next few weeks arent burnt down. incidentally, npr's Talk of the Nation featured the colorado wildfires today. they talked a bit about the reasons for the fires size, techniques for fighting them, the weather patterns they create, etc. if youre so inclined, the link above has a link to a realaudio stream of the program.

oh, and a link for the truly dorky model-builder. i want this stuff.
