One of the 7 wonders of the world. Absolutely beautiful, on any given day. 100 or so metres deep, 1,7km long - the widest if I recall. The sound of running water, heard throughout the town 24 hours a day puts you to sleep, hypnotises, keeps you awake if you so wish. The mist rises & sprinkles as far as the farthest tips of the town - great on a hot day. Hence the name "mosi-oa-tunya- the smoke that thunders" There is almost always a rainbow, if you look. Even at night, on a full moon. On such an occasion the sun sets blood red & the moon rises blood red & with the absence of skyscrapers you see 2 glows of red on opposite end of the earth.
