Before I go dark again I wanted to let you all know that the talk went well, he grassed up the class mate who referred him to Shrek and the video (and classmate after watching the vid) creeped him out as much as it did me. He was a bit mortified that I saw his browser history and unhappy that I installed K-9 and parental controls on his mac.

All in all I think it went well, and we had a few laughs. He was disbelieving that he couldn't continue to watch Deep Space 69, however. When I asked if he knew what 69 was he said yes, when I asked him what 69 was, his definition was laughably naive, barely pertaining to sex. I can't do justice to his answer.

I think we need to have a birds and bees talk 2.0, this was merely a prelim I guess, but that TED talk has cast a pall over my thoughts on porn and my interest in it, however cursory.
