He's being a smartass, ignore him.
 I've had a Canon ip4500 for over two years. It's a temperamental sonofabitch, uses expensive ink rapidly, but does print nice pictures. The HP before that didn't do as well on pictures, but I printed over 20,000 pages in eight years without a breakdown.
