Pro Bowl quarterback Donovan McNabb was reportedly traded from the Philadelphia Eagles to the Washington Redskins on the evening of Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010. While the deal was not immediately finalized, the Redskins would give the Eagles a second-round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft and a third- or fourth-round pick in 2011.

McNabb had been the subject of trade rumors for some time before the transaction as his contract, which includes a $6.2 million roster bonus on May 5, 2010, expires after the upcoming season. The Eagles will reportedly turn to quarterback Kevin Kolb for the 2010 season, with fellow quarterback Michael Vick as their first backup.
