Just pray you don't HAVE to go on a restricted eating plan (like myself). Granted, I don't follow it to the letter, and it's not so much the taste but of the limited amounts you have to eat. Not many food choices in a diabetic/renal diet, believe me. It's sucks.
Not worth the hypertension, IMO., that'll lead to other health complications that will lead to scarfing down a cocktail of pills everyday and hospital visits.
BUT...as they say, "all things in moderation".
And not all healthy foods taste like sand...lol!
