Your Employees
I was talking with a buddy from Texas over vacation and he had this little tale. He was strolling up to the liqour store and noticed the girl behind the counter. She spotted him at the same time and hustled to the door. His first thought was, "These New Hampshire Yankees aren't nearly the cold fish everybody says they are, she's gonna hold the door for me...nice." She gets to the door sets the locks flips the sign to closed and hands in the air she wiggles triumphantly back to her seat, five minutes before closing. When we explained that she was a state employee he was pretty appalled that such an idea existed, but understood her actions.
This sorta fits with Tonys school story, public employees just seem susceptable to this kind of behavior. They gets the job, they joins the union, and they waits their turn. Its the difference between owning your own store and just manning the register.
