2002 0220 0220 2002
A moment that comes once a millennium
Some have recognized today as a special day because of the palindrome, or calindrome, 2002 2002 2002. Purists might argue that the ultimate palindrome today occurs right now, at 2002 0220 0220 2002. Of course, this only makes perfect sense to someone familiar with the descending international style approved by the Canadian government — year, month, day, hour, minute, second and so on. Parse it out and the numerological string translates as 2002 (year) 0220 (month and day) 0220 (2:20 a.m.) 2002 (20 and two one-hundredths seconds). And right now you must be thinking: "How do these people end up with so much time to figure this all out?" |
