I'm not sure. He had a bad cold at Christmas. I'm not sure if it was already pneumonia then or developed later.

Total bummer. Definitely worry about the pneumonia now and get him 100% or as close as poss before you attack the cancer.

Pop had an xray on Friday and his lungs are clear. He goes in for a stress test this week. If he can handle that, the surgery will be on the 25th.

They want to use two surgeons to get him through surgery faster, so they've postponed surgery to Mar 11th. He seems to be in good spirits, so that's good.

Dad had his surgery on Thursday. The doctors did not find cancer anywhere else, and he's recovering as well as you could expect for an 83 year old. He was still on pain meds over the weekend so he would drift off while we were talking, but they already have him eating and standing for a little bit.
