Boneless venison chops

AKA deermeat

Venison, the other free meat.

Most of the hunters around here kill several deers a season just because they can dammit. Many times the bounty is donated to the homeless or ends up being thrown out after being in deep freeze for 10 years or so.

This is not the case with me. Venison is free, cooks up well and, as a tangent benefit, gives me unbelievably bad gas. This comes in handy when I'm working with Marine Guy.

So anyway, here's the totally uninteresting pic I took to participate the the "Food and Drink" area.

Mmmm...venison. Good stuff. I particularly like venison sausage.

Fuck the bambi lovers.

Oh yeah, we had some of that, whaddya call it, veeen-eye ... anyway, deer meat. Yessir, picked it up right off I-95 a coupla years back. Woohoo, tasty shit.

Anyone a fan of buffalo meat? Wegman's sells a prepackaged brand that's *okay*, but if you get it fresh from a butcher - I'll be damned if it's the best slab of juicy, fatty, red meat I've ever eaten. AND it's better for you than chicken and beef!

I would be if the sonsabitches were as plentiful as deer and were hunted around here. The free aspect of venison is very appealing, going to the store to buy meat takes the magic out of the consuming experience.

Grampa said Buick drivers don't have to buy meat. That's why they had a "sight" on the hood.

*drool* (for both deer and buffalo)

I would like to be able to have a herd of buffalo on the property, both for the meat and for the excuse of having a Sharps Buffalo Rifle.
