Well that might play among those who know only using sound bytes. But exposed was a bigger Palin problem. She did not have George Jr's superior campaign skills. She was chosen to be the right wing extremist representative - as George Jr was. But, well, the movie W. does demonstrate that even George Jr did not have those skills when at about the same point in his life. The movie W also demonstrated how Goerge Jr refined those political skills.

Maybe Palin can be trained to be a good frontman as George Jr was. But she obviously was not ready which made her a classic target of ridicule. Worse for her, somebody keeps pushing her out there as if she is a viable and electable politician. That is only creating an image just like Dan Quayle - another whose image gelled in the American psyche.

Is the point of this thread that the poll asked stupid, pointless questions?

What "side" you're on shouldn't negate your ability to spot a stupid question.

I think they'll need new faces to do that with credibility no matter the level of nuttiness in the new Congress. Success might have to involve the national party with-holding support for the bad actors that just lost.

Yes that and many who voted had no idea really what they were voting for or against...on both sides.

If only they had known the truth! The information from this really awesome poll could have shown them the light...

FACT: 99% of all Americans do NOT know that wearing tin foil hats can keep the liberal DEMON WORSHIPPERS from taxing your Bible collection.

Right, this is what we need more of. This will help the political process.

That's the case in most elections though.

I don't really think this one was any different to the last time GW got elected. Do you?

Ali - no I don't. Its just unfortunate to find something that you found interesting and share it only to be ridiculed. Whatever.

Pie - To what do I owe that honor...again?

Classic, you aren't being riciculed...the poll is being ridiculed. Its actually a good example of something that should be in the ridiculously partisan thread.

Pico - you are probably right in that it belonged in another thread instead of its own.

I'd like to suggest a new thread, classicman's partisan claptrap, for things of this nature.
