April 18, 2007: Naked Mexican protest

Been a while since IotD featured naked protest. When I saw this one at 20minutos.es I figured it was... half-decent. Official caption, Babelfish-translated:

This manifestation has become a custom, since twice per year they go to the capital to walk naked by the avenues, without no authority solves its demands.

So not only a naked protest, but a regular naked protest. And their beef is so unclear that the translation can't really tell us what it is. Here's guessing that guy on their crotch is not their hero?

A little Googling for "400 towns" gets us some further detail about the previous protest six months ago:

The 400 Towns Movement looks for get back their territories robbed in Veracruz Mexico.The women which completely naked, demand the liberation of the politic prisioners of the movement.

Most of them don't look that bad to me. And the PETA tactic of using hawt scantily-clad volunteers has always struck me as exploitative rather than simply attention-getting.
