Food/drink vices... have any you'd like to lose? - Page 2

Vices?! omgosh..I have a few.

Smoke cigarettes - wayyyy too much. But not inside for the kid's sake.

Drink coffee - a pot every morning all to myself

Cheese - sharp chedder is my weakness. Bleu cheese is a close 2nd.

Salty foods - pickles, olives, potato chips...yumm!

Spicy foods - salsa, habanero peppers, horseradish, wasabi.

(I like all three of the above at once too, slice of cheddar on a chip with a jalapeno pepper side

)

Once a month I crave chocolate ----> get the hell outa my way, I need my fix!!

I don't however, drink or do drugs. I used to really scarf the beers and it kinda got out of hand, so I cut myself off. Not a drop in 3 years. Now, if only I could do that with the cigs!!

One thing that is hard for me to give up:

Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on a toasted everything bagel - when hungover, like today.

see, steeivle, if you'd have given up booze yesterday (or given it to me to "care take"), then ya wouldn't be munchin on cholestrol and fats.

Right now, Im having Wasabi Mashed Potatoes, HOt Spicey Chicken Wings, Carrots, sauted carrots,... and a glass of Chablis... ( the snicker caramal bars are in the freezer, along with the 6 pack of Lighthouse... but we can't see them)

Mmmmm... these are a few of my faaavorite things...

I quite smoking cold-turkey a month ago. I had quit before, and stayed quit for over 7 years but my demon husband tricked me into starting again.
It's not so bad quitting... just work up a healthy case of sealf loathing, accept the fact that life is gonna suck for a bit, and just do it.
