				New Field of 64?

I organize a movie night ar my work place every other week and I'm try to rotate Drama/Comedy/Action/Horror movies to keep it interesting. My problem is I'm running out of what I consider good horror movies. I used the last field of 64 as a source for comedy movies, could we do another for horror movies? |

My favorite (not necessarily the best) horror movies in no particular order: -The Ring -Candyman -Doppelganger -Dracula (yes the one with Keanu Reeves) -Nightmare on Elm Street -The Prophecy -The Grudge - it kind of sucked but there are a few good creepy parts -Stir of Echoes - not really horror, but its great -Anything with Ben Stiller is pretty horrific...

i hate horror flicks, but I really like suspense movies. Can we modify the category? If so, I'll nominate The Jagged Edge

I hate myself so much for not following through on this that I created an administrative interface so that anyone could use to run a field. You could try it now: http://cellar.org/fieldof64/admin.php?field=asdf Anyone can use that form to set up this field: http://cellar.org/fieldof64/64.php?field=asdf Beta-test it now. The password is "asdf". Creative ain't i. |

Agree on the topic and who'll manage it (who'll have the password for it), and I set up the field and send the password to the manager. Then we start a new thread for it and start nominations. Howzat.

In no particular order ... - The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari - Theater of Blood (my favorite of Vincent Price's films. The Abominable Dr. Phibes is by #2 of his) - The Haunting (original. there is no need to remake a perfectly good movie) - The Exorcist - House of Wax (original again. nothing with Paris Hilton in it can be good, no matter how they kill her.) - Pitch Black - Halloween - Dracula, Prince of Darkness (Christopher Lee ... Hammer Films Dracula) - Hellraiser - Dracula (Bela Lugosi) and, because you can't have one without the others ... - The Wolfman (Lon Chaney, Jr.) - The Mummy (Boris Karloff) - Frankenstein (Boris Karloff) There are quite a few movies I struggled over because they aren't classically horror ... Psycho, The Birds, Rosemary's Baby, The Legend of Hell House, The Blob, and, of course, any film by William Castle.
