January 30th, 2015: Look at the Red Hair, What a Fox.
NAG pointed out the National Park Service has some exiting news. They've had two, verifiable by trail cam, sightings in Yosemite Park, of a Sierra Nevada Red Fox.

A sly old fox! And great news.
I have a trail cam which I move to a new place around the ranch every night, never knowing what it will show the next morning. Better than the tooth fairy! |

We have foxes in our woods ... when they scream during mating season, it's the creepiest thing ever. The first time I ever heard and saw a fox screaming, I called the Game Commission thinking we had a rabid one. Nope; just declaring territory and impressing the vixens ...

No kidding, that's a new one on me. They usually don't have much meat on 'em, but crows will eat some pretty disgusting stuff.

Apparently you don't, and I certainly don't, so we have to rely on the Fox experts who are diametrically opposed to the FOX experts.
