Might be worth pointing out that a pic of the centre of London isn't representative of the country as a whole :p
I took my dog out for his morning walk yesterday and he had to basically burrow his way to the gate. Tis true though that it takes very little snow to bring the country to a halt. We get deep countrywide snowfall about once every 2-3 years.
