I shop at Whole Foods on occasion, because they have things that I like. I just wish that fewer douchebags shopped there. Every time, it seems like the place is full of...mental midgets. (Ha! I've missed that word.) |

They also didn't always have the screening options we have; many died quickly and brutally. The lady who would have been my mother-in-law (had she lived) was diagnosed in late September. She was dead by mid-December. She didn't 'believe' in doctors, you see. I'm sorry about your friend, Monnie. Help her get through this.

I wish they'd stop lying and saying 40s is young. It's not. Seems to be the prime age, especially for the non chemo-reacting type. You're probably right, Pie, about the screening. But I didn't know anyone whose mom died either. Her poor daughter is 11/12, only child. awful. She's already had surgery, just starting chemo. ugh. Sorry, I know I'm banging on, but if I can't here, where can I? Fuck it.

He retired. Now they're worried he's going to piss about so much it'll raise the water table.

That sucks, Bruce. I think they've been moving the flood zones around here and talking about fixing some of the levees. I don't know what my parents pay...they live off one of the main canals that empties into the Mississippi River.
