			Yeah, I'm vi/vim too. There's a disturbing lack of posix-compliant environments in my new place of work. I can feel myself getting dumber by the minute as I sit in front of my xp box. The Cellar is also too close at hand, I get nothing done!

 I actually prefer the mingw tools and tcsh, since they try to handle normal win32 drives and paths, but cygwin has a wider range of stuff. And vim is available for native win32. You also might like Console - like rxvt but better (tabbed sessions).

			scsi is passé.  I've got a whole box of scsi cables (once worth hundreds of dollars).  Now they're pretty useless.
