I have a problem with the Cellar slowing down, sometimes to an agonizing crawl, just after midnight. I can go to any other site with no problem, so I theorize the Cellar location, midst several credit cards and financial institutions, that are busy moving money after midnight, chokes the lines.

Yeah, I found that one last night... a backup of the database is scheduled to happen at 4 am, but the time was off and the system thought it was 4am at midnight. The database backup really slows things down for about 10 minutes, but there's not much that can be done for that one. It just has to happen... |

If you are really getting popup ads along with The Cellar, you probably have a piece of adware from somewhere on your computer that's generating them.

i'm not getting popups. one time when i opened the cellar two additional browser screens opened in the background with ads for an italian restaurant. it was my laptop and i had the wireless turned on even though i was using my cable... I think I may have just picked up some free service nearby. i was really just kind of joking when i said that.

My Opera hates the cellar! It closes connections, logs me out.....IE is fine but I have to ask for more permissions. I am just complaining. I am not going to fix it today! |
