If it's a CD-RW, yes. Or are you talking in terms of destroying the info? If that's what you're looking for, they make shredders that will do the job.

Thanks Steve! Late last nite one of my neighbors brought over a CD that already had music on it. And wanted to know if I could record another CD over it.

CDs are pretty cheap at this point...why would you *want* to overwrite one?

It was 10PM and he was having an emergency, he needed my AC/DC album badly.

The only thing I dont like about those CD-RW is they can be picky to which players will allow them to play. Some players cannot read them.
