one for ZippyT

last weekend was spent at the farm getting things ready for the up and coming opening weekend of dove season with ZippyT in september. I decided to go on and disc up about 14 acres total of land also to plant oats for deer season. one should be careful turning a tractor with a tire that has been filled with rubber to prevent flats......hehehe, the stop i might add was rather abrupt. no worries though, a busted up kneecap and hundred bucks later and i was back in business......the pic where the tire is off of the tractor was after the original incident. i had taken another tire/rim to town to get fixed (the plug went bad) but it didn't hold and i had to shell out an additional seventy bucks for a new tire.......life on the farm. something always needs fixin'.

From plthijinx:
actually bruce that's how we jack that sucker up. it's the easiest, most convienient way to change the front tires. unfortunately i have lots of practice from all of the mesquite and cacti around....

hey zip, when you come down next month, i'll show you a wheelie! in a drunken stupor, but i'll show you a wh wh what were we talking about?
