Christmas came early this year

I will have no presents to open on Christmas Day. Not that I'm complaining or anything, but I've already gotten the presents I asked for, so I'm done...fuck it, I'm putting the tree away...

So, what did El Sicómoro get for Christmas? Why, I thought you'd never ask!

The first present I got was from Rho...the PS2. And when I say present, I mean "I went out and bought the PS2 last month and just say that it's what Rho got me for Xmas, since I forked out $300 for the whole setup." Thanks sweetie! You're the best!

The other present arrived in the mail today from my mom: 2 tickets for the Blues/Islanders game on Long Island in March. This is as close as the Blues are coming to town this year...who the fuck came up with the NHL schedule? I thought every team played each other at least once at home and once on the road. It's all good though...it's an excuse to go to New York City for the weekend. It's not like Rho and I go away that often anyway.

So, let's see where these seats are...okay, well, they are up in the nosebleed section, but the view looks good. Though I hear Nassau Coliseum sucks...ah fuck it. I haven't seen the Blues in person in 12 years. Thanks Mom...thanks Ken...now I'll have to take back all the bad things I've said about you guys this year.

Hopefully you enjoy your gifts as much as I enjoy mine...

There was one "present" I forgot to mention. Our friends at Comcast (our cable provider) gave us a free preview of Cinemax, which started Wednesday. So, in addition to the 12 channels of HBO and 16 channels of Encore we already have, we now have 11 channels of Cinemax until 1/1.

As a whole, Cinemax is just HBO minus the shows. You tend to see the same movies on both channels. But I must say that I was rather excited when I found out we were getting the free preview...why?

Because Cinemax has more soft porn movies than HBO.
