Chuck the Keyboard

Teeny tiny keyboards suck, here's another way.
I think the learning curve would be steep.

Very interesting. I like the idea. I disagree about the steep learning curve, too. I think it would be just like becoming familiar with the controls on a new computer game

wait ..... when you say steep learning curve, are you using the colloquial understanding i.e. really hard to start off with and then gets exponentially easier?

I really hate that phrase. People seem to use it just to mean hard, so it's true meaning (if indeed it has one seeing as a steep curve would form a cirle pretty soon....)

Only a circle if you are not continuously moving forward, otherwise it is a perpetual slog...

Quarter circle, very steep at the beginning but leveling off at you approach the top.

ok, I get you and it makes sense, but it isn't what a lot of people mean when they say that. and it's not steep all the way. "Initially steep learning curve"

Very interesting, probably no harder to learn than typing was/is. reminds me of semaphore, morse code, etc. just another code for letters. I'd say more similar to semaphore since it relates to movement of the finger. I know that the movement in semaphore is just in aid of getting to the flag position, but still similar.

Not sure if I am ready to add learning this new language to my "things to do" list, esp. since I don't have a mobile device.

I think voice recognition makes the most sense, but then there are plenty of situations where silence is golden.

Hmm. I would use it, I think. But unless you have crazy-dextrous thumbs, it would require two hands (the other one to hold the phone underneath.) Currently I can text with one hand if I have to (while holding a child, for example.)

I certainly think it's time to come up with SOMETHING better than the standard QWERTY, which is many generations out of date.

Don't know this exact system is gonna make it though

...Wheels keep turning
Something's burning
Don't like it but I guess I'm learning

Chuck! - watch the keyboard get hurt, keyboard

Cover me, when I sleep
Cover me, when I breathe
You throw your pearls before the swine
Make the keyboard blind
Cover me, darling please
keyboard, keyboard, keyboard
Don't you know you're going to chuck the keyboard

I am old(ish) and set in my ways. I do not see this as easier than thumbing on a Crackberry keyboard.
