![]() This dust cloud, coming off the Mongolia border, is so massive that it was picked up and tracked on satellite. It made it to California. It began as sandstorms on Apr 3 and this image was taken Apr 10. Pretty cool. |

That's unreal, man. The scary thing is that it probably happened before, or else it would have had moderate to semi-significant coverage on the news, especially with it hitting CA and all.

I'm in japan, and let me tell you that it happens every year. Coats everything, and since it happens all the time nobody really bothers cleaning outside stuff. Everything has a nice coating of industrial polution and yellow sand...
