Welcome to Hotel California

“It’s like the Hotel California,” said Nipon Das, 34, a director at a biotechnology consulting firm in Manhattan, who tried unsuccessfully to delete his account this fall. “You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave.”

I had an account for a few months but I recently closed it and requested no emails etc and I've recieved none so far. They did send me a goodbye letter saying I could come back any time I like though. I assume if I ever decide to log in again it'll all still be there.
