Worth Studying
Ok, I know that I want to get some further edge-yew-mack-ation, and I'd like to whatever credential that goes with it (I have lots of self-taught skills, but nobody seems to care in the employer side of things). The problem is determining what on gods' green earth I want to learn about. I can't rule out enough stuff to narrow down on one thing.
Any ideas on how to narrow this down? |

Pick something you like and have an interest in. Maybe you could do something to do with sports medicine or therapy? Human movements perhaps?
Or you could choose something very general and decide as you go along. I guess it depends on your finances and your time frame.

Figure out something that you love doing and look into learning a bit more about it. You like motorcycles? Look into some classes at your local college with that kind of program.
Also worth looking into are online classes from good colleges/universities. I'm not talking University of Phoenix crap. My college alone offers I would guess close to 80 different online courses through the summer and school year. They don't require you to be online at a certain time to chat with people normally, just that your work for the week has to be done by Monday at midnight or something along those lines depending upon the class.

You seem to be a fairly fit and active person, what about kinesiology?

I've thought about doing something medical/physical. The thing is, if I go that way I want to go ALL the way and be a doctor or surgeon.
Time frame: ASAP Finances: variable I guess I'll just keep casting about. Thanks for the pointers. The kinesiology sounds interesting...that's kind of the problem. Everything does. |
