I vote three.
The body parts out the left side belong to the head in the diamond. The body parts out the right side belong to an orange cat. Inside the diamond I can see another gray body...so I'm gonna say three. But of course, there could be more that we cannot see... Here's my fave pic of Shadow doing the Cheshire Cat...

*sigh* Calico. I don't have one in that color. Or Siamese.
Most of mine: (we have 11)  Squirrely-Jo and Marmalade. Marmy was innocent. S-Jo is the guilty party!  Fave pic of S-jo.  This is Shadow. (girl-kitty)  An orphaned litter that Shadow nursed while I switched them to bottle feedings. Shadow had 5 of her own kittens to nurse. (I foster for a local rescue)
