Using Canvas Paper for Printing
I stopped into a local Acme this morning and they were having a 'sidewalk sale'. Among the items was an $18 package of Optijet Artist Cotton Canvas sheets for $2. These are 8.5 x 10 inch sheets faced with coated cotton.
I only picked up one package because I've never used this before. There is a print chart included with older models of printers, but not mine. It also states 'recommended Windows95/98' settings, so this is an old package. The printing surface is still white, so it really hasn't aged. Anyway, does anyone have advice for using these sheets? BTW I also picked up 100 sheets of OptiJet photo coated paper for $2. ..and a 50 foot weatherproof garden hose for $2 ![]()

What's the weight/white stats? Sounds pretty damn interesting.

I may have to find a different printer to try it on.

This might be an excuse to pick up an old printer at a garage sale or thrift store, if you can find one that works with this stuff. Sounds pretty cool.

I have an old HP 670 Deskjet that handles it well. I can even do prinsts on peices of commercial vinyl wallcovering. Great canvas type effect. Jams, tho not frequent are inevitable. I broke a PSC 1200 trying the same papers/vinyls.
