How did you die?
assume previous lives.
How have you died? You may have repetitive dreams about it, or maybe an irrational fear of a particular scenario...... I've fallen from a great height. ive been buried alive. that was the worst.

Burning ship and drown in a creek, face up, just below the surface.

If I use my dreams as a reference I also fell from a great height.
Into water. I often dream I am on spindly, ill-made structures above the sea, which are swaying to and fro. Perhaps I was a sailor and fell from a crowsnest? (Disclaimer - dreaming of falling is a common dream metaphor and not an indication of previous lives.)
